R700 Rower Manual

The York Fitness R700 platinum rowing machine is a great value for money fitness machine. The R700 combines both air and magnetic resistance to ensure highly effective and challenging workouts. The rowing machine has a height adjustable rowing handle, heavy duty pivoting foot plates and a large padded seat, which ensure maximum comfort. It is supplied with a multifunctional computer that provides feedback on all the important workout statistics.

When not in use, the machine can be folded for easy storage. We bought this to replace a similar product (air rower) which simply fell to bits in no time.

This model was reduced to under £300 so we gave it a try. The build quality seems good and runs smoothly and quietly. Adjustable resistance levels too (1-8). Our daughter (who rows a lot on the water) particularly likes the firm foot plates to push from and the straps allow the heel to lift between strokes. Easy to assemble; it's almost built when unboxed. The self tapping screws are tight and need a firm hand for fixing down the foot plates. The seat track folds into the unit and the whole thing stands vertically for storage.

Very easy to assemble but do need a good screwdriver for the self tapping screws. Great value with the free mats, I had originally ordered one from amazon £6 dearer without the mats, they failed to deliver within the 2-3 weeks estimated delivery time and then extended it by another week, couldn't wait that long so very pleased to be able to get it from here with free next day delivery.

Very pleased with this machine, very smooth action with plenty of resistance.
