I cannot delete the Matrox folder in Program Files. It stops on file digisc.exe and will not proceed. Any suggestions? _________________ Brand= Model= Motherboard= Processor= P4 2.8 Ram= 1 gig OS Type= xp pro Matrox_Support_Carlo Joined: 04 Jul 2005 Posts: 2897 Posted: Fri Nov 09, 2007 3:39 pm Post subject: Hi newton54, Did you happen to uninstall Matrox XTools via Add/Remove Programs or through the start menu via Matrox category (the correct way)? Download buku manajemen keuangan pdf. Therefore, after uninstalling Matrox XTools, go to Start->Run->type%temp% and delete the contents of this folder, then empty your recycling bin.
Afterwards, uninstall Premiere Pro 1.5 and then proceed with the installation of Premiere 2.0 and then Matrox XTools 6157. Keep us posted. I did notice that even though I clicked on the Uninstall Matrox XTools it acted the opposite like it was installing again.
Now I'm stuck. I have deleted the%temp% and I have uninstalled Premiere Pro 1.5. BUT I still cannot uninstall Matrox Xtools or delete the files from their directory. _________________ Brand= Model= Motherboard= Processor= P4 2.8 Ram= 1 gig OS Type= xp pro Matrox_Support_Carlo Joined: 04 Jul 2005 Posts: 2897 Posted: Mon Nov 12, 2007 9:58 am Post subject: Hi newton54, Would it be possible if you can go into Safe Mode in order to uninstall Matrox XTools via the Start->Matrox menu and verify if it will uninstall the XTools completely. If it does, do not forget to cancel the 'found new hardware' wizards once Windows has loaded up. To be able to go into Windows Safe mode, make sure to hit the F8 key after turning on your system and while it is about to start Windows.

Reinstall application may fix problems.' After this I rebooted into Safe Mode and went to the Matrox category from the Start button and clicked on Uninstall Xtools. It then brought up a box, still in safe mode, ' To INSTALL Matrox xtools you must first install Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5.' This is the same problem I had the first time when Xtools acted like I want to Install not Uninstall. _________________ Brand= Model= Motherboard= Processor= P4 2.8 Ram= 1 gig OS Type= xp pro Matrox_Support_Carlo Joined: 04 Jul 2005 Posts: 2897 Posted: Mon Nov 12, 2007 10:49 am Post subject: Hi newton54, Since the Matrox uninstaller is asking for Premiere 1.5, it seems like the registry is corrupted and cannot find the Premiere folder.
XTools Pro 9 Free Download new and updated version for Windows. It is full offline installer standalone setup of XTools Pro 9 Free Download for compatible version of Windows. Program was checked and installed manually before uploading by our staff, it is fully working version without any problems.
Therefore, go into Windows, uninstall the current Premiere 1.5 version (if it is installed), reinstall Premiere 1.5, then go into safe mode and uninstall Matrox XTools (this time around it should go through with the uninstall). Then went into safe mode and hit on Uninstall Xtools again. This time it brought up a different error 'Setup cannot continue because system sound card cannot de detected.'
My sound is onboard. Why has it always acted like I'm installing instead of uninstalling?? Back into normal windows with error message ' This app has failed to start because MXtools.dll was not found.
Reinstall application may fix problem'. I appreciate the help but it is getting frustrating. _________________ Brand= Model= Motherboard= Processor= P4 2.8 Ram= 1 gig OS Type= xp pro newton54 Joined: 08 Nov 2004 Posts: 17 Posted: Tue Nov 13, 2007 11:08 am Post subject: Update on my problem Why does Matrox XTools not give you an option to uninstall even though you have clicked on the uninstall button in the Matrox folder? When I click on the Uninstall it acts like it is installing and I went along until it asked for a XTools CD. Matrox I would appreciate some assistance. I can't run my business if I can't edit!
