64-bit Acer Card Reader driver needed I have an Acer Aspire 5051 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit. All drivers are installed apart from the 5-in-1 xD Card Reader. Now I know theres a 64-Bit driver somewhere cos I had it on 64-Bit vista sometime ago. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website. Right-click on the driver setup.exe file and click on ‘properties’. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select previous operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. We do not have any Windows 7 drivers posted for this model, so I am unable to provide a link to a Windows 7 driver. You may try contacting the manufacturer of the specific card reader that is in your system, to see if they have any compatible Win 7 drivers. Power off your Acer Card Reader device.
